Our Background :
Avondale Systems Ltd has been trading continuously since 1992. We
began as a 'Trade-Only' company selling spare parts for Xerox printers
and photocopiers to large, nationwide, IT maintenance companies in the
UK, mainland Europe and the USA.
In 2002, we expanded our operation to include the supply of refurbished
and brand new, retail computer and printer products, from a wide range
of manufacturers, to the same IT maintenance companies.
In 2006, we decided to make our products available to the public.
Our UK warehouse stocks: Desktop PC's, PC accesories, Laptops, printers,
printer spares, consumables, and Server Room Equipment from all major
manufacturers.
Unless otherwise stated, all the products listed on our web site are
brand new, retail boxed items, and come with the full Manufacturer
warranty.
Price and Delivery:
1. Prices for all products are clearly displayed excluding and
including VAT for your information.
2. The delivery charge to any UK Mainland Post Code, when
choosing one of the two Royal Mail delivery services we offer on the
'Order' page, will be calculated based on the shipping weight of the
order. This charge will be clearly displayed before you commit to
purchasing the item.
We also provide a delivery service using national couriers such as TNT,
City Link, UPS, DHL and Business Post. We ship items with these
companies when the weight exceeds 2kg but you can also choose this type
of service if you want the ability to see Proof-of-Delivery details
immediately after the item has been delivered.
Courier delivery charges are as follows:
a). Courier (2 to 3 days) is £7.15
b). Courier (Next Day before Noon) is £16.50
c). Courier (Next Day Pre. 1030) is £35.00
3. We will endeavour to despatch all orders paid for before
2.30pm Monday to Thursday, and going to a UK Mainland destination.
Delivery can be at any time up to 5.00pm when shipped on a courier
service. There may be occasions when shipment may not take place until
the day after the order is placed. Orders placed on Friday will be
delivered the following week (we do not do Saturday deliveries).
4. Deliveries to the following destinations typically take 2 to 3
days: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Channel
Islands and Isle of Man.
5. For USA and Mainland European customers, please contact us
before ordering anything on our web site as we will need to agree upon
shipping charges. These charges will vary depending on the size and
weight of the shipment as well as the speed of the service you require.
We can also ship on your courier account if you prefer.
6. If you are a European company (located outside the UK) and
have a VAT number, please provide this for invoicing purposes.
7. If you are a member of the public who lives in a European
country, please note that we will have to charge you VAT at 15% on the
total cost of the item. Only companies in Mainland europe who have a VAT
number are exempt from paying UK VAT.
Payment Methods:
Credit and Debit cards:
When you add an item to the basket, the Order screen (where you input
personal details and credit/debit details), will change to a fully
secure, encrypted payment page protected by online security company
VeriSign (www.VeriSign.com). You
will know it is encrypted because the web page address at the top of
your web browser will have the letter 's' after the http (e.g. https://www.paymentgatewayonline.com/....).
You will also see a yellow padlock icon at either the top or bottom of
your web browser.
Please note, in order to protect the registered owner of the credit or
debit card being used to pay for the order from fraudulent use, the
Delivery address you enter on the order screen must match the registered
Billing address of the credit or debit card (i.e. the address where your
card statements are sent to).

We can arrange 30-day settlement terms for companies following
completion of credit checks. Please contact us for a credit applcation
